Methodology and limitations

Included: published events with an exact linked course that is confirmed private, a US state (50 states and DC only, so territories and non-US locations are excluded), a valid calendar date and a working public registration link. Past and archived events are included. Dates are local calendar dates.
Year reports are indexed once they hold at least 10 qualifying events.
Events are counted from our published listings. Charities that never submitted or were never discovered are not in the data, so this is a record of listed events, not of all private golf access.
We do not track money raised, attendance, field size or outcomes, so none are reported or implied.
Prices are the entry fees organizers listed. Events with no listed price are counted separately and excluded from every price figure.
Tag and cause categories are not reported because event tags are not consistently reliable.
